  • A trawler off loads at Scalloway, one of Shetland's main harbours, which also houses hundreds of oil and gas workers in floating quayside hotels. White fish, shellfish and farmed salmon are shipped from Scalloway to world markets in Europe, China and the far east. Locals lament that the majority of the catch goes overseas and is not appreciated as much in the UK.
