In August 2017 the 'wind phone' appeared here as "A private space to meditate on life and loss". The original wind phone was created by Japanese artist Itaru Sasaki in his garden to cope with the death of his cousin. After the tsunami it was used by friends and neighbours to go a speak their grief out loud. This Irish installation appeared on the windswept moor with the creators remaining anonymous.
